Can I sign up with Plero if I sold my publishing catalog?
Yes. We work exclusively with royalties generated from the sound recording (master) copyright. Our work is completely separate from the publishing side.
Do you collect producer royalties from SoundExchange LODs?
Not typically — we focus on your non-featured performance rights which are separate from the royalties being distributed by SoundExchange through Letters of Direction.
Do you collect royalties from the record labels?
Not currently. If you need help with your label royalties, we have partners that we can connect you with.
Do you collect neighboring rights?
Our primary focus is on US digital performance royalties, but we can set up international neighboring rights collections upon request.
What does the name Plero mean?
Plero comes from a transliteration of a Koine Greek word πληρόω (plēróō) meaning “to complete.” The meaning is in line with our mission of making musicians whole.
